What Employees are willing to say about their job security with Johnson Controls?

Johnson Controls has not announced the news about furloughs, but insiders are saying due to COVID-19 they are now one step closer to laying their people off. In a last ditch effort to keep their staff employed in what now seem to be a guaranteed recession. Johnson Controls has started requiring their employees to “take a vacation”, now whether this vacation is paid or not remains to be seen.

Johnson Controls as of 2018-19 currently has about 105,000 employees and generated revenue totaling US$ 31.4 billion.

This is not the first time JCI has laid off its employees in North America, Europe and Asia. Totaling 5,000 jobs.

While Johnson Control is doing their best to help with the efforts against Covid-19 and the eventual economic recession to follow. It is evident that JCI is doing its best to help effort against these viral disease and also slim down as much as possible to leverage those loses.

It’s not going to be an easy road, stated an insider, but they are doing what they can.
we received several statement looking to have a voice. “It seems that this is happening on the hush” stated one concered worker. “but I know they are doing there best, it just makes me wonder about the top half and how much are they having to cut back.”

Knowing these cuts are looming we are looking at another set of thousands of workers who will be un-employed by the end of this epidemic.

We reached out to Johnson Control but did not receive a response.
