Fernando Gaviria has confirmed he has coronavirus.
The Colombian sprinter has been off the radar since the UAE Tour was abandoned late last month, but he has since released a video confirming that he caught the Covid-19 virus.
UAE Team Emirates rider Gaviria was riding the seven-stage race when the final two stages were abandoned because of an outbreak of the virus in the team hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Bond girl Olga Kurylenko has become the latest celebrity to be infected with the coronavirus.
The French actress-model disclosed on Instagram on Sunday that she is currently quarantined at home after she tested positive for the virus.
The Ukranian-born actress wrote, “I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms.”
She urged fans to take care of themselves and to take the coronavirus outbreak seriously.

New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton tested positive for the coronavirus, he told ESPN on Thursday.
Payton, 56, is the first person in the NFL world known to test positive for the virus.
Payton said he didn’t feel well this past Sunday, took the test Monday and received the results Thursday afternoon. Payton is resting at home, fatigued, but said he is part of the 20% of cases that have no fever and no cough. But he will isolate in his home through the weekend, and he said he is upbeat and optimistic about a full recovery.

Daniel Dae Kim revealed an update about his health as he recovers from coronavirus.
The 51-year-old actor posted a new video on his Instagram account Sunday a week after announcing his diagnosis saying he felt “practically back to normal.”
“I am happy to report that my progress has continued and I feel practically back to normal. I am lucky to be in the 80 percent of diagnosed cases that have not required hospitalization, that’s an important statistic,” he added.

Former star of The Bachelor Colton Underwood and talk-show host Andy Cohen have joined the growing group of celebrities who have tested positive for coronavirus.
Underwood posted a video on his social media pages saying he has been following all social distancing rules for a week, but tested positive on Friday.
The 28-year-old former football player who appeared as The Bachelor in 2019 says he began having symptoms, primarily exhaustion, a few days ago.
“The main thing is I can’t even walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath or going to the bathroom without having to sit down because I’m exhausted,” he said.

Andy Cohen, the host of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” talk show, has tested positive for COVID-19, he announced on Instagram Friday. Earlier in the day, Cohen had talked to Variety about hosting the show from his apartment in New York City as of this Sunday, but for now, those plans are on hold, a Bravo spokesperson confirmed.
He wrote: “After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus. As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better. I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”

The couple explained their decision to stay together in an interview with Oprah Winfrey through FaceTime for an episode of “Oprah Talks: COVID-19” on Apple TV. The couple were criticized online after they posted a video explaining Idris Elba’s confirmed test results, with his wife sitting close by.

Jazz great Manu Dibango, best known for his 1972 hit “Soul Makoosa,” has died from complications of the coronavirus, according to a statement on his official Facebook page.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Manu Dibango, our Papy Groove, who passed away on 24th of March 2020, at 86 years old, further to covid 19,” it said.
“His funeral service will be held in strict privacy, and a tribute to his memory will be organized when possible,” the message added.

She told fans: “Just a quick message to let you know that I just got a call from the hospital where I was tested today and I do have the coronavirus.
“I’m OK, I’ve still got a temperature and a bit of a headache… but all in all I’m OK.”

Donovan Mitchell was the second NBA player that tested positive for the coronavirus after his teammate, Rudy Gobert, became the first player to test positive. Gobert had been careless in the locker room in terms of touching other players and their belongings despite warnings about the severity of the situation, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Kristofer Hivju has revealed that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease, known as COVID-19.
The Norwegian actor took to Instagram on Monday, revealing the news alongside a picture of he and his wife, Gry Molvær Hivju.

According to Rolling Stone and USA Today, Bon Jovi keyboard player David Bryan took to Instagram on Saturday to tell fans that he tested positive for COVID-19 as the number of cases continued to rise around the globe.
“I just got my results back today and tested positive for coronavirus,” he wrote. “I’ve been sick for a week and feeling better each day. Please don’t be afraid!!!”
Bryan added that the illness is “not the plague.”

Frozen 2 voice actress Rachel Matthews is the latest figure in Hollywood to test positive for the coronavirus. The 26-year-old star — who voiced the character Honeymaren in Disney’s animated feature — revealed the news via Instagram late Monday (March 16), saying that she has quarantined herself for the past week.
“Unsure of what the next step is (been getting mixed info so will keep you posted) but obviously will remain in quarantine until told to do otherwise,” she wrote, adding, “I’m feeling better, but I will be posting some info that I hope will be helpful to some.” The actress, who lives in the U.S., said that she decided to get tested after coming in contact with “a confirmed case.”
