Preparation and Cooking Time

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 35 minutes

Total Time:  45 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

½ cup grated mozzarella cheese

4 ounces steak

1¼ pounds frozen french fries

1 green pepper, sliced

½ onion, sliced

½ cup grated cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil, divided

1 green onion, chopped

Philly cheese steak

Directions

Step 1

In an air fryer, cook the french fries according to the directions on the package, until crispy.

Step 2

Trim off the visible fat on the steak and slice it into strips. Season the steak with pepper and salt and sear in ½ tablespoon olive oil until well browned. Take out the steak and put it on a plate.

Step 3

Add the remaining ½ tablespoon of olive oil to the same pan and sauté onions and green pepper for about 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Take out the onions and green pepper from the pan and put them on a separate plate.

Step 4

Spread the fries on a sheet pan after they are cooked until golden brown. Top with half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Top with green peppers, steak strips, onions, and the reserved cheese.

Step 5

Broil until the cheese has melted for about 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve. Enjoy!
